I started on the 5-Day Slimdown Kickstart Program 21 weeks ago, continuing with the Slimdown for Life Maintenance Program after the initial 5 days. It was the best decision, and investment, for my health that I could have made.
The health benefits are many, I have more energy, no more joint pain, no brain fog, no sugar cravings and no more bloating.
So far, I have lost 10.7 kg / 23.6 lbs, 13 cm / 5.1 inch of my bust, 10 cm / 3.9 inch, from the waist and 7cm / 2.7inch from my hips – a total of 30 cm/ 11.8inch. At 62 years old, and 157 cm / 5ft.2 inch, 66.7 kg / 147 lbs is the lightest I have been for decades.
The food choices are easy with both programs, with lots of ideas and advice available. I have ditched a lot of food I used to eat each day, choosing more healthy and nutritious options and recipes.
For me personally, drinking lots of water is one of ‘must dos’ for success on this program. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see the results, you expect straight away …. your body is beavering away in the background and adapting to the changes.
There is lots of guidance to be had here, and lots of people seeing fabulous results. Trust me when I say patience and perseverance will be your friends on this journey.
Think of it as more of a ‘Lifestyle Change’ than a weight loss program.
